A short story about us

Crumbs Cookie Station began as a side hustle born out of necessity. At the time, I was a single mom looking for a way to earn extra income for my daughter and me. I prayed and asked God for direction, and I clearly heard, "Bake and sell cookies." I had never baked from scratch before, but I was up for the challenge. I started selling cookies everywhere I could—on my job, at my daughter’s school, at church, and by walking into salons and barber shops with samples in hand. The response was overwhelmingly positive. People loved the cookies, and word of mouth quickly spread.

I began participating in local events like Small Business Saturday, and demand for the cookies continued to grow. In 2018, I officially turned my hustle into a business. A defining moment came in 2021 when, while feeding the homeless with my family, we decided to walk into a local Meijer grocery store and offer samples to staff. That bold step led to a contract placing our cookies in two Meijer locations.

Today, we’re preparing to open our own cookie production facility and dessert bar. This journey has been full of growth, faith, and resilience. What started as a prayer to make ends meet became a purpose-driven business that creates joy for others, opportunities for my community, and a legacy for my family.

Becoming an entrepreneur has not only changed my life—it has shown me what’s possible when you trust your vision, work hard, and show up with passion. I’m committed to using this business not just to build wealth, but to inspire others and make a lasting impact.
